Comments Thread For: Robert Garcia: Raymond Muratalla is Lightweight Division's Best Kept Secret

FRESNO, Calif. - Raymond Muratalla has built an unbeaten record without much fanfare. That could change as long as he continues winning. Muratalla, the talented lightweight, will face Humberto Galindo tonight at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California. The 10-round bout will be the final undercard fight prior to the main ESPN telecast, which will be headlined by the junior welterweight clash between Jose Ramirez and Richard Commey.

I can believe that, I posted a thread with a detailed breakdown video that mentions him and the elite level skill he uses during a fight but no one bothered to look at it.

I like Muratalla. He can be a beast if he brings fire all the time-but in his last fight, I think he looked a little too nonchalant for a live fight. Apparently he beats up everyone in the gym so it might come easy, but don't leave it in sparring. When he turns it on, damn it's very fun, two handed combinations. But I don't know about the focus. He's 26 now, been a pro for a while, so I hope to see a legit fight very soon. Very exciting guy though

Kind of frustrating that Top Rank aren't getting him any step-up fights. Big fan by the way, he is fundamentally sound, explosive and is a switch hitter.
