PBC should be very careful before giving Pero a top 5 fighter at this point, he's got some defensive flaws that can be tightened and some different offensive techniques that he would be wise to add to his skillset first. He should take about a year to face guys like Ilunga, Joseph Parker, Otto Wallin and Charles Martin, maybe even the human punching bag, Whyte, so that he can employ these skills in actual fights without getting knocked senseless. I know that some of the sanctioning bodies have these fighters highly ranked, but they don't deserve it.

Yea what I saw in Pero was some speed esp compared to Faust - Man anybody would look fast in front of that guy. He was not just slow landing the punches but he was slow when an opening occured (talking faust) like the amount of effort it too to get a thought in his head to his hands was really slow. that said Pero has some speed and can take a punch. He reminds me of Kow Kow in a certain way tho Kow could not generate much speed or take too much heat. Anyhow put him in see if he can hang with a few more better fighters get to it he is not young anyhow might as well find out what he is made of now. Eddie is probably already making plans for his to go against AJ he ha haw

Hrgovic struggled mightily in his last outing, this when he laboured to a debatable 12 round decision win over Zhilei Zhang on the Usyk-Joshua II card last August.

If Ruiz does get this fight, and if “The Destroyer” turns up in good shape, Hrgovic could be in trouble. For some time, plenty of us felt Hrgovic was the avoided danger man of the division, a future champion if only he would be able to get the top guys in the ring with him. That Zhang fight seriously changed this opinion. Or did Hrgovic merely have a bad night in Saudi Arabia?
Hrgovic was exposed for sure. But by a very big and strong Zhang. You probably need those assets to get the Zhang results (PS - Zhang won that fight). Ruiz, I think, fits the bill ... though he is not the biggest guy. He has always had an uncanny ability to mix it up well with bigger opponents. I think Hrgovic would be in trouble if he couldn't keep Ruiz at distance. Ruiz knows that, and has another ability to get inside of punches thrown at him (when he is in shape and active). At least he used to have that ability ... he has been sitting back and waiting more in his last few fights.

If Hrgovic keeps him at range and lands all night he can win. Otherwise, I think Ruiz gets in his work zones and surprises Hrgovic with his power. If they get trading it could go either way, But I'd still favor Ruiz. Of course, if Ruiz shows up out of shape or with poor cardio all bets are off.

          Was thinking

          some combination of
          King Kong v Sanchez
          Demezrian v Pero

but with Sanchez, he's earned and maintained his standing, but he's really been stinking it up lately. I've liked him for a while, but it's been tough watch. I wouldn't mind to see them throw Pero in there with him. Rematch with Faust is OK too. Im sure the matchmakers were expecting those two to not be able to miss each other, might still be a good fight there

Honestly, I would rather see Ruiz vs. Sanchez!
