Almost everyone who Haney has fought has been able to have him fighting off the back foot for most of the fight lol. But George didn't even try to force that issue
George stood stationary waiting to counter. Between Haney's jab and angles he could not do it effectively. The very few times he came forward he had a degree of success.

For anyone saying Kambosos is crying or making excuses, do you think Haney didn't hold a lot?

As far as I'm concerened, Kambosos isn't making excuses, he's describing what happened. Haney won with his jab, constantly breaking up Kambosos' rhythm and holding to stop any reply. I believe Kambosos when he says he wasn't hurt at any point and I think, despite it all, he did hurt Haney with a good few shots, just not enough. Haney won deservedly on points, I don't think anyone is trying to say anything different.

If you are to talk accurately about the fight, though, you would have to acknowledge Haney did a lot of holding on his way to outboxing his opponent and claiming the correct decision. As Kambosos said, "It is what it is."

If he goes for the rematch, it is up to Kambosos to find a way to overcome the tactics, because he failed to do that in the first fight.

I'd rather see holding when the guy doing it is actually trying to hurt and take out his opponent.

Haney just holds to play it safe.

There's always the entertainment of the paying fans to consider. That's why some fighters become stars and others don't.

Yeah but it's up to you to do something about that George.

No double, triple jabbing his way in, no sustain body attack and he did not employ his own jab.
Jab with a jabber don't hook with a hooker use yer head on a grabber.

That was **** to be honest. The ref letting that rough housing get by, letting it get ugly like that. Kostya Tszyu didn't know what was happening when he fought Hatton. I think he couldn't understand how the ref was letting him get away with that garbage.

George stop crying, you lost the fight by a wide margin. You are doing the same as Teofimo cry, cry, cry.
Stop trying to blame the referee.

You couldn't use your head on Haney because he'd dip below the belt line and then engage the clinch from that angle. You could stiff arm him to prevent that I suppose. But when George did that, he'd say George was holding Haney down, so it was pretty ridiculous. Aside from that, you're left with kicking him in the face, which you could probably do and make it look like an accident because Haney's head is almost touching the ground.
