By the way nothing wrong with giving out tickets and offering cheaper tickets and allowing fans to comeback and watch the event during a damn Pandemic so this is not to discredit Canelo as a Draw or any of that childish garbage. Just expected more Since Big Mouth Eddie was running around bragging about a record

The crazy thing for me is just how much those Vegas gates are, Golovkin 2 was $1500 average, jesus christ, what would that mean "cheap" seats are what $500, good seats are $10,000+ ?
Better to have a filled 70K arena then a mainly empty one like Mayweather v Paul, thats never a good look, no matter what the gate.

For a stadium event you pile in more people, so the average view is further away and there is greater supply. Ceterus paribus, it's logical for the average ticket price to be lower than for a smaller venue.
The numbers seem good when compared with other comparable Canelo fights. Seems low in comparison to GGG fights, but that's because Canelo vs Saunders is a much smaller fight than Canelo vs GGG.

Stadiums don’t typically do the dollar value numbers that Vegas arenas and casinos do where the tickets are a lot higher. Normally I get ringside seats in arenas and stadiums for anywhere from $150 to $400. And when I do I’m sitting next to actors, politicians, athletes etc. I’ve not been to a fight in Nevada since I saw Audley Harrison fight in Reno on an ESPN card. Before that it was Tyson v Pinklon Thomas at the Lad Vegas Hilton.
now having thought about all this it’s been a good 30+ years since I was love at ringside in Vegas, I do think in the next year or so I will get back to a big Vegas fight with the missus....thank goodness she’s also a boxing loving Brit.

Let's just times this number by 4,5,6 in alcohol sales on a Cinco De Mayo weekend....
